Summer is here.... it already has been a bear... My first week was somewhat relaxing got a lot done, scheduled and planned. The second week came with a vengeance, late Tuesday, June 15th, I get a call from my wife's doctor, she had gone there due to shortness of breath they gave her a nebulizer treatment it did not do any good, long story short she was picked up at her doctors office and taken by ambulance to Medical Center of Plano. She was diagnosed with multiple pulmonary emboli, multiple blood clots in her lungs... After nearly 4 glorious days of being in the hospital she was released. This past week we have spent our time visiting various doctors and specialists including being on coumadin therapy. A wonderful drug... not... This is now the end of the 3rd week, thankfully next week I am scheduled to spend a week at a coal mine participating in a teacher academy for science. I'm looking forward to it. I plan to keep a daily log which I will either enter online or will keep a record of my experiences that I will update when I get home.
