Vacation? It's Tuesday December 21st 2009, I should be happy that I am off for the next week+, but no.... Men are outside working on my gas line. Saturday night I smelled gas, yep gas leak, I spent Sunday and Monday getting quotes ranging from $2,000 to over $3,500. Christmas spirit is hard to come by right this moment.... School let out on an OK note.. I've been very busy trying to get everything done. As soon as the gas is back on (heat, hot water) I'll be able to concentrate on getting something else done...

- I was born November 29th 1966. I live in North Texas, married to a wonderful loving wife, Elizabeth. I'm father to a beautiful girl, Averille,and friend to a dog named Ollie. My experiences prior to becoming a teacher have been many and varied. Most of my time after college had been spent in Television and Video production. Longevity in any one position in TV/Video is rare, and I wanted some consistency. I went into sales, having some limited success. I began to listen to my heart, something was missing. I looked into becoming a teacher. Having graduated from East Texas State University, a major teaching school, I felt I knew at least a little bit about teaching. I explored the profession and fell in love with it. After having completed a grueling alternative certification program, passing my ppr and content tests, completing my internship, and getting my certification, I actually look forward to the daily challenges that come with the position. I know that I have made a difference in kids lives, and I look forward to being there for them.
